For any special occassion the Best Western West Retford Hotel is the perfect venue.

We have function rooms to suit any occassion, whether it be a birthday, christening or a funeral. 

The luxurious Shelley Ballroom seats 160 people for a sit down meal and up to 250 for a buffet style meal.  The beautifully decorated room has a dance floor and room for a DJ and a large bar area.

The Welbeck Suite is a smaller room for a more intimate function for around 30 people.

The Grove Suite is our upstairs function room which has it's own dance floor and is more for our smaller functions seating up to 70 people.

The Rufford Suite is a beautiful intimate room for a civil ceremony or as a bar area extension for the Grove Suite, the room overlooks the wonderfully landscaped gardens.

Our Byron Suite is a smaller room just off our main Candlewicks Restaurant this is a luxurious room for a more intimate dinner or private dine.

We can cater for any occassion, we will be happy to sit down and go through any requirements that you may have with a dedictade meetings and events co-ordinator and the function on the day will be ran by our operations team.  We make each function special and memorable for you and your guests to remember.

We have a large choice of menu's for you to choose from ranging from a 3 course sit down to a buffet or for something a little different maybe a barbecue served outside for your guests to enjoy on the beautiful gardens.  Our specialist chef's will endeavour to accommodate any dietary requirements your guests may have.
